Coastal began as “Coastal Farm and Home Supply” in 1963, opened by successful marketer and dedicated community member Buzz Wheeler in Albany, Oregon. What began as a single-store operation has grown into 21 locations, from snowy peaks and high-mountain plains to dry desert valleys. We take pride in continuing how we began—with community roots, legendary service, and bringing you just what you need for LESS.
We know how a warm pair of boots can ease you into a cold, wet morning. Or how a simple bag of feed can keep a homestead running smoothly. We move pipe, raise livestock, turn wrenches, and dress to the nines for the rodeo too. We hunt, fish, and camp in the great outdoors—and we’re willing to get our hands dirty to get things done.

Our youth are the future of agriculture, and we are honored to aid their organizations. You can find us supporting conventions and clinics, hosting free move-in day BBQs at the local county fair, purchasing at market auctions, and evolving our Show Animal Discount Program to better serve our youth on an annual basis.
Happy Paws & Humane Society Pet Events
One of our Coastal core values is to serve our community. Assisting our local food banks is an annual tradition that is near and dear to us. Watch out for our holiday food drive, where you can join us in collecting supplies and raising donations that help the folks right here at home. We know our towns sometimes need support beyond the holidays, so you’ll see us promoting aid at grand openings and events throughout the year.
